Older Than I Thought...

A buddy of mine (Jerry) was in town for a couple days and he found some time to make his way to see me yesterday. So, we do what guys do when they hang out... drink. We went to a little hole in the wall bar and hung out and had a pretty good time. Then... today came. Man was I beat. You would've thought that I was out until 4 am or something.

But... as with most things, I got a run in and felt much better. The endorphins are up, and I am ready to go. It's amazing how that works, huh?

Run recap- 2.97 miles, 28:19, 9:31 pace

I agree. When I feeling a little under the weather, a nice run usually clears away the sluggishness. Think how many doctor bills you'll avoid in the future with this strategy.

Isn't it funny how when you're in your late teens & early twenties, you can stay out all night & "partay" until 4 am & not feel it at all?! But then try that exact same behavior a few years later & oh boy, how you feel it the next day!!! Hahahahaha.

Atleast the running helped to power you through the following day! I don't know how you survived; I would've fallen asleep at work! ;-)

Actually... I was only out until about 12:30. And, it felt like I was out until 4 am. So.. yeah, kinda lame.

I don't recover like I used to.
