So... what am I gonna do? I guess it's back to the Smart Ones for lunch and lighter meals for dinner. I'm already doing the required exercise, so no changes necessary there. Oh well... The fun eating was bound to catch up to me eventually... and it did.
I got two runs in this weekend. One 4 miler that felt pretty good and a 5 miler that hurt pretty good. I was going to do 6, but my knee started to hurt. So, I cut it short. Me thinks that has something to do with the added weight, but maybe it's in my head.

I am sure you don't look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow man, but that is an amusing picture.
Stay the course, no need to panic. Don't start starving yourself, that will only backfire (I am telling you the things you know, because I myself have to be reminded of them from time to time).
I am trying (to little avail) to deemphasize food in my life. I try to eat till the hunger is somewhat abated and then walk away and wait to fill up.
It's not easy though. The other day while hiking I saw a 10 year old girl with a sack of Sun Chips. I wanted to push her down and run off with them.
Yeah.. I love that picture. You're right, I'll have to figure out how to do this slowly. Unfortunately, I'm usually "on" or "off". There's not really an in-between with me (I think you know that already anyway). I'll try.
