I've been tagged, Six word Memoir

It seems like this has been going around faster than the flu bug at the office. Nitmos kindly tagged me to create a six word memoir... Here are the rules as stated on Nitmos site (and probably many others).
(1) Write your own six word memoir.
(2) Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you want.
(3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogs-universe.
(4) Tag at least five more blogs with links.
(5) Leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.

So... combining my stubborn tendencies with my recent confusion over whether or not to run the marathon...

Hard head, hard road, soft feet...

It may be lame... But, now I've fulfilled my duty.

New tagees:
1. Corey
2. Steve
3. Tim (Fat Man Running)
4. Tim Wilson
5. RunningTwig

Cool, thanks for the tag. I was tagged for the same thing a week or so ago actually, so now I'm feeling guilty.

I'll try and string 6 words together soon ok?

How about "Love to run, hate being vandalized".....

I'd have to say that was pretty good.

Good one. Well done. The nice thing is that hard heads and soft feet are inversely proportional. Once the feet callous over, the head will soften. That's an ole proverb somewhere....

Thanks... Unfortunately, it's not the callouses/blisters that I'm worried about. I demolished my feet (bones) running the marathon last year. I think it had something to do with my muscles not taking on the impact of the running at the later stages.

It was the equivalent of slapping 195 pounds of force directly on my feet for about 4-5 miles. I think better training can help this problem though.

That's a lot of force. I think I read somewhere a 150lb runner will have to absorb 220 tons per mile (110 tons per foot).....

Crazy...
