I went on a run in the snow today over lunch. There wasn't much snow, but it was laying. So, for the first time in recent memory, I decided not to time my run. It really didn't feel like it slowed me down much. But, I just didn't want to be forcing the pace and I thought it would be better to remove the time element altogether. All in all, it was a good run. In fact, the small amount of snow seemed to cushion the roads a bit. That felt pretty nice on my feet. All in all, an enjoyable experience.

Nice one! I love to run in light snow, but haven't been able to do that in years...
Sometimes it's great to ditch the watch isn't it?

Definitely... I'd say there was about an inch on the ground when I went. I just ran a bit slower and tried to keep my feet under me. It was nice.
I had forgotten what it was like to run without a watch. Kinda liberating... But, I'm too obsessed with the time/data part of my running to do it very often.
