Eagles Rumors

I waited my entire 30 minute elliptical workout to see what the rumors are for where McNabb "might" go next year. Now, I don't believe for a second that McNabb won't be an Eagle. But, it's still fun to listen to the offseason rumors. So, 30 minutes of waiting... and I realize it's an hour long SportsCenter. So, I never got to hear the rumor (I found out later it was the Bears, Vikings and Lions). The mill is swirling around the Eagles this year. They are rumored to be interested in Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams and Chad Johnson. Another year... another load of receivers that the Eagles are "interested" in.

I do hope the Eagles are aggressive in the offseason. But, I would rather see defensive additions than all these offensive additions. They can score points. They need a playmaker on defense... be it a cornerback, safety, or defensive end.

I also got just over 30 minutes of elliptical in and did a pretty good pace. I don't really keep stats on the elliptical. But, it felt tough for about 2/3 of the workout.

Thanks for stopping by! I played soccer at Ole Miss...years ago...I just coach now and run as much as I can.

What is your injury? Hopefully it will heal up soon and you can get back to it!

That's awesome. D1 soccer was never a dream of mine. Looking back, it probably could/should have been. I wish I would have been as into running when I was in college as I am now. I always got by on "above average" ball skills and a large frame. At the time, 185 was a "big guy" in D3 soccer. Now, I'm shooting for 185. My how the times have changed.

Anyway, my injury is lingering on from the marathon I ran in October. I just really beat the heck out of my feet. So much so that I was on crutches for two weeks after the marathon. Lucky for me, there was no real damage (breaks or stress fractures). But, after I "recovered", I ramped the mileage back up too quickly. I was running 25-30 miles a week again within a month of returning to running. Back to the sidelines I went.

So, now I'm just running 3 days a week and trying to get some base mileage back. I'm running a half in April with more emphasis on getting back in a healthy way then my time.

What position did you play in college? I played striker in college and sweeper in HS. Talk about a total 180.
