Ryan Shay collapsed and died on Mile 5 of the US Olympic Marathon trials this morning... Here's a link to the story (click here).
Apparently there was some talk of a previous heart condition... But, this stuff is scary. An extremely well conditioned athlete pushing himself to his ultimate limit. Sad day indeed. My thoughts go out to his family.
