Ok, mostly scared... But, I am officially signed up for the
Got the Nerve Triathlon in May. And, because I took my good ole time about deciding, I got charged a $20 idiot tax (for signing up after the new year). Oh well, I'm in now. On to the training.
sweet! Besides keeping up with your swimming in the pool, try to get a few "open water" swims under your belt. The biking and running should be a piece of cake for you.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I'd second the open water swims idea. It's a hell of a lot different!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that it is and would be a good idea... But, I'm not really "invested" enough in this yet to go buy a wetsuit. So, how would that work? I'd freeze I'm sure. I was planning on renting a suit for the tri.
ReplyDeleteStill haven't decided if this is a one time thing or I'll do this a bunch... or else I'd just go buy one.
Good for you! I've been too chicken to sign up for a tri because I dread the swimming part. Sounds like your swimming is really coming along though, so you won't have that problem.
