Once you get the breathing and basic stroke technique right, aerobically you'll be able to swim for a long time..

I haven't been in the pool since 2004 (Ironman year), but am planning a sprint tri in June - need to get back at it pretty soon.

Interested to hear about your progress,

--Stevestevespeirshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17200786162464085289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4835658214417347634.post-49806604855175379452009-01-03T23:15:00.000-05:002009-01-03T23:15:00.000-05:00Thanks Steve... Learning to breathe correctly was the biggest factor for me....

Good luck!

--Steve

FWIW, I went from being a total non-swimmer in 1998 to comfortably finishing a 2.4 mile Ironman swim 6 years later.stevespeirshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17200786162464085289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4835658214417347634.post-14672276189078349432009-01-03T15:53:00.000-05:002009-01-03T15:53:00.000-05:00It seems I'm learning a couple things a day lately...It seems I'm learning a couple things a day lately.Eric Gervasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05987479725567129785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4835658214417347634.post-8146371406167605172009-01-03T15:03:00.000-05:002009-01-03T15:03:00.000-05:00You learn something new everyday eh.You learn something new everyday eh.Andrew is getting fithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12509663563205981548noreply@blogger.com
